The mission of the River des Peres Watershed Coalition is to improve, protect, and maintain the River des Peres, its tributaries, and its watershed as a vital natural and cultural resource in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

About this Event:

Please join us for the free virtual Annual Meeting of River des Peres Watershed Coalition on February 9, 2021 at 6 pm. We will look to 2021 for new opportunities to engage the watershed community and will hear from two guest speakers. Julie Stone, regional administrator of St. Louis region with Missouri Department of Conservation, will talk about how RdPWC can help further MDC goals for engaging volunteers. Jenny Wendt with the Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative will discuss the UN-sponsored Mississippi River Plastic Pollution Initiative project, which kicks off with a citizen-science data collection opportunity in three cities including St Louis. We will also announce the 2020 Watershed Hero.
