About The Santa Shows:
Santa’s Christmas Countdown is a family show, suitable for all ages but particularly 2 to 7 year olds.
Why are The Santa Shows online this year?
Honalee Media have been creating and touring a new production of their hugely popular Santa Shows to theatres every December for over five years now and have fast become part of many families’ Christmas traditions. While there will be some live theatre performances this Christmas, many theatres are closed this year – which is why Santa and his friends are excited to bring Santa’s Christmas Countdown to you virtually in your own home!
What can I expect from The Santa Show Online and how do I book?
This 90 minute Zoom event is an exciting blend of specially recorded and live material, creating a festive, musical, interactive Christmas experience, that brings a wealth of colourful Christmas characters and favourite festive songs to you in the comfort of your own home. Buying a ticket from Eventbrite will give you exclusive access to The Santa Show’s Zoom event, where you can watch the production. This is a private event, only accessible by purchasing a ticket for your household. Once you have bought a ticket, you will be sent an individual Zoom link, which can be used to access the show on one device. Virtual doors open at 2.00pm GMT on Sunday 20th December 2020, when you will see a picture from the show and hear festive music. The event will begin at 2.15pm, starting with Cosmo the Elf live, introducing our Christmas show, Santa’s Christmas Countdown, followed by Father Christmas sharing your festive messages. Then there’ll be more live chat, as well as your posts and pictures with Cosmo the Elf, plus a final farewell from Father Christmas. After purchasing your ticket, you'll be emailed a booking confirmation and the event can then be accessed by clicking on the Join Now tab at the bottom.
How can I watch Santa’s Christmas Countdown?
Santa’s Christmas Countdown will be an online Zoom event, so you’ll be able to watch it on your smart TV, computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or anywhere else you can access Zoom. Guidance to download any additional software or apps is available from Eventbrite. The show can be watched worldwide, as long as you are in a country where you have unrestricted access to the internet. A moderated chat will also be running throughout the livestream, for you to send messages and pictures for Cosmo the Elf.
When can I send you my messages & pictures and how will they appear?
From 1st December you can post messages and photographs to Father Christmas using The Santa Shows Facebook page and as many of these will be shared as possible. Cosmo the Elf will introduce the Event live, chatting in real time and sharing your posts. Messages will also appear on screen during Santa’s Christmas Countdown, when you can watch and chat along using the 'Q&A' button at the bottom of the Zoom screen - this is how you can share your messages on the day of the show. Then, afterwards, Father Christmas will share more messages and pictures, followed by Cosmo the Elf ending the livestream with even more of your Christmas posts. The total running time is 90 minutes.
Will you share my message and photo?
Hopefully! We will of course share as many of your messages, photographs & pictures as possible. However, due to demand we cannot guarantee we will have time to show them all.
