Who We Are

At Vancouver Women’s Writing Courses, our mission is to create vibrant, healing, supportive and creative writing communities.

We do this through our weekly, six-month Writing as Healing for Women program and our Vancouver and Costa Rica Retreats.

As part of our mandate, we offer one-on-one writing coaching and energy healing for women at any stage in their writing journey/process.

For the greater Vancouver community, we offer empowering on-site wellness writing workshops for organizations and facilities. These workshops harness the scientifically proven healing power of writing to support staff and clients with stress reduction, trauma and recovery.

About this Event:

Are you feeling isolated and disconnected during these extraordinary times?

Are you seeking a safe, supportive + creative community in which to grow and flourish?

Would your writing benefit from inspiring themes and prompts?

Do you long to deepen your spiritual connection?

Join an intimate circle of women for a journey of empowerment through written expression. This is a free intro to the ongoing series.

Women may choose one of four weekly, six-part, paid workshops: Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 6 - 8:30 p.m., Thursdays from 2 - 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 12 - 2 p.m. (Pacific). Workshops are capped at 8-10 women to maintain intimacy.

The next sessions begin the week of January 11, 2021.

The workshops + intros include check-ins; guided visualization; inspiring writing prompts; and exercises designed to connect us with the creative, the divine and ourselves through writing, optional sharing of writing and dialogue. No writing experience required!

For these workshops, Marn Norwich fuses decades of experience as an intuitive energy therapist and writing workshop facilitator/professional writer.
