ABOUT US:

The Idis-Città della Scienza Foundation works to build an economy based on knowledge , capable of creating real and quality work and greater social cohesion. This project is developed through the enhancement of local resources and attention to the European and Euro-Mediterranean context In fact, the Foundation supports its territorial stakeholders (networks of schools, agencies, businesses, local authorities and associations) who become its cooperators and operational branches and contribute to experimenting with new cultural products and multiplying their effects with actions on the territory. Furthermore, the Foundation is aware that its objectives are now at stake in the European context andEuro-Mediterranean , both for the objective conditions of contemporary scientific and technological research; both for the characteristics of the European integration process, and for the strategic position of Naples and the South , on the borders between the North and South of the world.
