Objective and Scope of Conference:


Advanced functional materials are the backbone of Nanochemistry which is an interdisciplinary field involving the properties of matter and its applications to various areas of science and engineering. Research on advanced materials makes a strong connection between different fields in basic science, engineering and medical sciences. This conference aims to cover a wide range of interdisciplinary topics dealing with various aspects of advanced functional materials. Recent progress in nanotechnology has opened doors to the production of much cheaper and more efficient tools for green energy. Properly designed nano-structures show superior efficiencies for solar-energy conversion, thermoelectric energy harvesting, biomass conversion to fuels, hydrogen storage and cost-effective electrodes for hydrogen generation. Likewise, nano-magnetic materials are the preferred choice for targeted drug delivery and contrast agents in clinical diagnostics. This conference would bring together fraternities from academics, research and corporates to discuss and exchange the state of art research & development and explore opportunities in the emerging areas of functional materials. It will also provide a platform to young researchers to interact with experts.
